There had to be a way of bringing a face-to-face conversation with a consultant to a digital level in the age of WhatsApp and Facetime. Long before contact restrictions came into play with the pandemic, we realised that rather than replacing our face-to-face counselling, digital channels had the potential to support, complement and digitally engage with our clients.
Our video banking
It therefore comes as no surprise to us that our video banking is rapidly catching on in popularity. Our clients appreciate being able to have a one-to-one conversation with their consultant, including remotely, enabling them to go through documents together or discuss personal questions. Because sometimes a look says more than many words.
Any specific questions can be clarified directly with our in-house specialists in an uncomplicated and convenient way - they can be included in the conversation via video if required. Moreover, as the specialist does not necessarily be based in the same location, it is even easier to reach him.
Our video banking has already persuaded quite a few clients, not least because it is so easy to use: we arrange an appointment with you and send you an invitation by email with the link to participate in the video conference, as we would for any other meeting. You can participate via your computer, tablet or smartphone. In just six steps you are ready to discuss your questions with us via video.
Incidentally, video banking is a service available to our clients that is currently only offered by a select few banks in the market. Independent testers were also impressed as reflected in the ”Best Local Bank” (in German) test.

We use Microsoft Teams for Bethmann LIVE to ensure a secure connection and optimum video quality. You can use Microsoft Teams on your desktop, tablet or smartphone anytime, anywhere.
If you have already installed the software or app, the meeting will open automatically. If not, you can easily do so just before your LIVE appointment when entering the meeting details. Microsoft Teams can also be used on most computers without installing it.
