Das Bethmann Bank Traineeship

Are you a young professional who wants to discover how sustainable wealth management works? Our 15-month traineeship will introduce you to the key areas of a modern private bank. Three of those months will be spent experiencing international banking at ABN AMRO's headquarters in Amsterdam. Your mentor will guide you through your customized program. Upon successful completion, a permanent position is guaranteed. You can look forward to challenging tasks, flexible working hours, and comprehensive training.

The Corporate Banking Traineeship

Do you like to think entrepreneurially? Do you see yourself as an enabler? Become a specialist for the banking needs of dynamic medium-sized companies and institutional investors. Within 24 months, you will learn all the key areas of corporate banking – from asset-based finance and clearing to equity capital markets. During your three-month secondment at ABN AMRO headquarters in Amsterdam, you will work in international teams on exciting projects. Your coaches will accompany you throughout the entire program and help you develop your full potential so that after successfully completing the traineeship, you will become part of our corporate banking team!

The Consulting Talent Program

Do you think strategically? Do problems challenge you, especially complex ones? Start your career as a management consultant now with exciting projects. We offer you an eighteen-month traineeship in which you will master diverse challenges at Bethmann Bank and other major banks with the Frankfurt-based management consultancy Plus Ultra Consulting. Experienced project managers will guide you in the art of structuring complex issues. Have you successfully completed the program? Then we look forward to working with you long-term in our Strategy & Transformation department.

Our traineeships at a glance

Bethmann Bank

Prerequisite: Completed Bachelor's/Master's degree

Focus: 5-6 placements based on individual focus

Duration: 15 months

Upon successful completion, employment with ABN AMRO/Bethmann Bank is guaranteed.

Corporate Banking

Prerequisite: Master's degree with a concentration in banking

Focus: Corporate Banking

Duration: 24 months

Consulting Talent Program

Prerequisite: Completed Bachelor's/Master's degree

Focus: Strategy & Transformation

Duration: 18 months

Upon successful completion, a position with ABN AMRO in the Strategy & Transformation department is guaranteed.

The next application phase begins in 2026.
