The “Bethmann Stiftungsfonds” is a conservative mixed fund that invests globally and broadly diversified in the asset classes of liquidity, bonds, shares and, where appropriate, alternative investments. When investing in bonds, the Fund may invest in high yield and emerging market bonds to develop further global sources of income.
For us, sustainability is an integral part of corporate responsibility. We have, of course, also consistently aligned the "Bethmann Endowment Fund" with our stringent sustainability criteria. In selecting companies, countries and organisations, we take ecological, social and entrepreneurial aspects into account.
The Sustainability Advisory Board, founded in 2011, is an important driving force in our sustainability process. The six external members advise our investment team with their socio-ethical and scientific know-how on fundamental questions of sustainability. They support our wealth management in aligning criteria for sustainable investments according to new scientific and social developments and assists in reviewing investments with regard to their sustainability.
